Cookie policy

What we set and why

• Sign-in cookies (names starting "sb-"). Set when you sign in, by Supabase, our sign-in provider, so you stay signed in. They last until you sign out or the session ends. Strictly necessary.
• Your recent pictures, kept in your browser's own storage (a database called "event-media-booth"), up to forty per booth, so you can scroll back through them. They stay on your phone until you clear your browser data, and we cannot see them. Strictly necessary for the booth to work.
• Small settings in your browser's storage: whether the flash is on, the code you joined an event booth with, a random identifier for your phone so only you can post or delete your pictures at an event, and the name you used there. They stay until you clear your browser data. Strictly necessary.
• If you turn on notifications, your browser keeps a subscription so we can send them. Turn notifications off in the app or your browser settings to remove it.
• Cloudflare Turnstile, the bot check on the invite form, may set a cookie of its own while you use the form, to tell people from automated sign-ups. Strictly necessary for the form.

Strictly necessary items do not need your consent under UK law, because the site cannot work without them. If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask you first and list it here.

How to control them

You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings at any time. Clearing them signs you out and removes the pictures kept on your phone, but not the pictures kept in your account.
